Adelaide's 1st Christmas!

Here are the pictures of Adelaide opening and playing with her tons of gifts and her napping afterwards (she was exhausted and took a 2 and a 1/2 hour nap). We had a wonderful First Christmas as a family of three! Enjoy!

Adelaide is 10 Months Old!

Time is flying bye! We have hit double digits in months already! Adelaide amazes us everyday with the new things she can do.  She crawls and climbs all over place, she is talking more and more (in her own language of course), can say "I don't know" with her hands (we are working on getting a picture of her doing this, she put both hands palms up (it is soo cute)), she can climb up the stairs, she loves to be chased (this always gets her laughing), she also enjoys throwing anything on the floor or anything that is in front of her, and the one thing that she has done for many months is smile... all the time!  Her grin just lights up the room, it is contagious, and we can not get enough of it and of her!  Here are a few pics of our 10 month old little girl!

Adelaide Meets Santa for the 1st Time!

Adelaide met Santa tonight.  Our community clubhouse hosted Santa's Workshop.  It was really cute there was Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Elfs, Christmas Carolers,  a station where you could make your own Christmas Cookies, balloon makers, hot chocolate and hot cider.  We saw a lot of our friends from our playgroup and  had a great time!  Adelaide was not too fond of Santa though (as you can see in the pictures)...maybe next year. Happy Thanksgiving!

Adelaide celebrated her very 1st Thanksgiving yesterday and she had a great time!  We went down to San Diego to Brad's Aunt and Uncle's house.  There were a lot of us there...Tom and Cindy, Jessica and Peter, Angelie, Lucas, Isaac and Angie and, Uncle Clay.  This was the first time Adelaide was around another baby her age! She had a wonderful time with Angelie and Lucas!  Here are a few pictures.

(You can tell by how she is turned around looking at me because she is waiting for me to say No, No).  (FYI...The cord in the background of the first two pics is usually not there, Brad had to do some work on Sunday so that is why it is there).

Adelaide's 1st Fire Season!

Well here in Southern California there has been fires breaking out since last Friday.  The closest one to us was the Yorba Linda fire (which is where Brad works).  The fires pretty much went right around his job site!  He actually went up there on Saturday to help a home owner move some lumber that was next to his house, just to be on the safe side, and later on that night the homeowner was on tv being interviewed.  Here are a few pictures of the fire (this what we could see from the back of our house).
