Adelaide's 1st Halloween!

Adelaide had a Great 1st Halloween and dressed up as a Monkey! Brad and I and Brian and Jana, went to The District (an outdoor shopping mall down the street), that had Trick or Treating for kids at the stores, and showed off Adelaide in her costume.  It was a great time, tons of kids dressed up, a live band, and decorations.  Enjoy the video and pics.

Here Comes Trouble!

Here is Adelaide getting into trouble. Everything that she is not supposed to do she does, and everything that she is not supposed to play with (i.e. computer cord, etc.) she does!  Her personality is coming out even more now, she is crawling and laughing more, and sometimes will wave Hi and Goodbye. 

Back in California! And crawling all over!

Well after a long day of traveling we are back home!  Adelaide did great on the airplane (it is a really long flight from Florida to California with an 8 month old).  Adelaide slept on and off during the flight, here is a picture of her after we landed she looked like a wild woman with her hair all over the place, but she was happy as can be!  Our next task is that we have to buy gates for our house, she has been crawling all over the place since we got back!

Adelaide got to meet her Great-Grandparents (Hare), see her grandparents (Hare), and she also attended her first wedding (and saw a Gator!), and enjoyed it all!  Here are a few pictures from the week.

8 Months old, Teething, and on Vacation!

Time is really flying bye! Adelaide is already 8 months old! She is learning to crawl, get herself sitting upright on her own from laying on the floor, and pull herself up to stand! She is just a ball of energy and does not sit still for a minute (does this remind you of anyone...her Dad)!

We are on vacation this week in Florida with Grandma and Grandpa Hare, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Hare, and Uncle Clay. On the way here we had a lay-over in Chicago and Grandma and Grandpa Sommerfield and Aunt Megan met us at the airport with some Chicago pizza! Yum! So Adelaide has gotten to see a lot of family this past weekend. She was wonderful on the plane, but right now she seems to still be teething! Poor little girl is chewing on everything, has a low grade fever, and a runny nose! We are hoping she will rest up and get better really soon, and be back to her smiley self!

Well the Time has Come.....for Teething!

Here we thought we made it through the first 2 teeth coming in just fine...and then tonight hit us! Poor little girl has been crying on and off all night and she has a runny nose too! Lets hope this is only for tonight and she will be better in the morning.  Here is a picture of her from today though...happy as can be!

The Baby Whisperer (Grandpa Sommerfield)

Well Grandma and Grandpa Sommerfield left a few days ago to go back to Chicago, and they sent some pictures so now I can post a few from their visit.  Grandpa took Adelaide on a few walks during his visit and got her to sleep 3 Times on 3 different walks!  This does not happen very often so we were very impressed!  We miss you both and we enjoyed your visit.

Hard Drive Crash!

So this past weekend we have been dealing with our computer and our hard drive....it crashed! So we got a new hard drive, and now we need to take the old one to a data repair shop! ALL of our pictures are on there! And all of the videos of Adelaide! That is why there have not been any pictures lately.  So of course we (really just me) have been going crazy with no computer and no photos!  But the computer is back up and working thanks to Brad and we are working on getting our pictures back.  

Adelaide is getting really big (she is now eating 3 times a day), and has starting eating fruit baby food so far she has had applesauce and she likes it.  And her personality is coming through more than ever (she is like her Dad), she can not miss out on anything no matter how tired she is!  We will post pictures as soon as we download the next batch.

Adelaide and Teeth!

Looks like we are not going to have that cute all gums smile for much longer.  Adelaide is starting to get her bottom two teeth in (more so the bottom left one).  It all just started this past Tuesday!  She is a little fussy, but not too bad she is just a little trooper!   Once she will let us near them I will try and get a picture!
