Happy Thanksgiving!

Adelaide celebrated her very 1st Thanksgiving yesterday and she had a great time!  We went down to San Diego to Brad's Aunt and Uncle's house.  There were a lot of us there...Tom and Cindy, Jessica and Peter, Angelie, Lucas, Isaac and Angie and, Uncle Clay.  This was the first time Adelaide was around another baby her age! She had a wonderful time with Angelie and Lucas!  Here are a few pictures.

(You can tell by how she is turned around looking at me because she is waiting for me to say No, No).  (FYI...The cord in the background of the first two pics is usually not there, Brad had to do some work on Sunday so that is why it is there).

Adelaide's 1st Fire Season!

Well here in Southern California there has been fires breaking out since last Friday.  The closest one to us was the Yorba Linda fire (which is where Brad works).  The fires pretty much went right around his job site!  He actually went up there on Saturday to help a home owner move some lumber that was next to his house, just to be on the safe side, and later on that night the homeowner was on tv being interviewed.  Here are a few pictures of the fire (this what we could see from the back of our house). 

9 Months Old!

Adelaide is 9 months old already and we can hardly believe it!  She went for her 9 month check up last week and she weighs 18 lbs. 10 oz and is 27 1/2 inches tall!  She is average for her age, right around the 50th percentile.  She is a VERY active little girl and is just a joy to be around!  Here are a few pictures of her at 9 months old!  Enjoy!

Since Adelaide now has 2 teeth, she now has her own toothbrush and toothpaste.  She loves getting her teeth brushed...here is a couple of pictures of us brushing her teeth.

Adelaide's Newest Trick!

We had to lower the mattress in Adelaide's crib because she can now pull herself up and stand in her crib and chew on the sides of it.  So in order to do this we had to take the mattress out and we had it on the floor of her room.  Well Adelaide loved playing on it and then decided to make a game out of it to see how long she could stand for with the assistance of the mattress...check out
