Adelaide Playing Around the House!

Here are a few pictures of Adelaide from this past week. She loves to play with her toys, she watched her 1st Presidential Inauguration, got stuck under a chair (which you can see she did not like), and had a blast pushing Dad around on her school bus.

Adelaide Is Learning to Walk!

This past week Adelaide has taken about 6 steps on her own! And everyday she is getting better and better on her feet!  She even did some walking with a turn! It is really cute to see her learning with her hands up in the air to help her balance and her quick little steps.   We are working on getting her practicing to walk on video.  I will post more pictures soon.

Adelaide is 11 Months Old!

Another month has flown right bye and our little girl is now 11 months old! We just can not believe that she is almost 1 year old! She is just soo funny and has such a personality! In the past month she has learned to clap and stand on her own for a few seconds longer. She loves to drink from straws, open and close doors, drawers, or our baby gates, play chase Adealaide around the house, and she is a expert at making a mess by taking everything out of any container or drawer that she can find. She also understands when we say come here, clap your hands, I don't know, and we are currently working on How old are you? where she holds up one finger.  And of course she still smiles all the time. We were getting something out of the freezer and Adelaide took out our In-n-Out Milkshake!

Here are a few pictures of her trying to get a drink of it, but it was frozen, later on when is defrosted a little we gave her a taste and she loved it, but she did not like it when it was all gone she wanted more!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well this is a few days past the new year, but...better late than never! Wow 2008 just flew bye!  It was a great year and one we will never forget...KU Men's Basketball were the NCAA National Champions! Rock Chalk Jayhawk!....Oh and we had Adelaide this year too....just kidding Adelaide being born was the highlight of the year (with KU winning coming in second)!  We can not wait to see what 2009 has in store for the three of us!  Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  We have been having a great week with Brad having a couple of days off, Adelaide just loves having her Dad home during the day! They have soo much fun together playing with all of her new toys and taking naps together!  Here are a few pictures of Adelaide (and Brad) from the past few days.
