Adelaide and Halloween!

Adelaide started getting into Halloween early in the morning with wanting to wear her Bee antennas (from her Bee costume) while she ate breakfast!  In the afternoon we got together with our neighbors at one of their houses for an early dinner and Trick-or-Treating afterwards all around the community.  Jacob was a sheriff, Adelaide was a cow(it was a little bit cooler out so she wore the cow), and little Jacob was a shark! The kids had so much fun knocking on the doors and getting candy, and they all really enjoyed it and did really well....especially Adelaide,  she was a pro by the end of it and filled up her entire pumpkin!! Adelaide and Halloween Events!

We have had a few Halloween fun filled days leading up to Halloween.  On Thursday we went to Tanaka Farms in Irvine, which has a corn maze, pumpkin picking, and a petting zoo.  Adelaide loved playing in the pumpkin fields and picked out her very own pumpkin all on her own.  On Friday night we went to a Monster Mash at the Children's Museum in Irvine.  Adelaide had a great time walking around the museum getting treats and we could not believe it but she actually wore her Bee costume the entire time...and the headband!!  Enjoy the pictures!

Adelaide and Grandma No No!

My mom (Kate's) came to visit this past week.  We call her Grandma No No (has to do with the story of the Monkeys Jumping on the Bed).  We had a wonderful time visiting with  No No.  We went to the park, played with some new toys, and went shopping!  Here are a few photos of No No's visit!  

Adelaide and the Petting Zoo!

Adelaide and I (Kate) went to Zoomars Petting Zoo in San Juan Capistrano with our neighborhood friends.  The kids had a great time and got to pet bunnies, guinea pigs, goats, and some birds.  Adelaide loved the bunnies and guinea pigs, since she could catch them and pick them up.  Here are a few pictures.

Baby #2 is a BOY!

We just found out today that Adelaide is going to have a Little Brother!   He looked healthy and the ultrasound tech said he looked perfect and is measuring right where he is supposed to be!  Due on March 7th, 2010!

Adelaide is 20 Months Old!

Oh my she is too close to being 2 years old!  This year is just flying bye!  Adelaide is becoming quite the talker lately, she is up to about 30 words now, and some of her favorite are ice, baseball, eyes, and bow!  She is growing and learning more and more everyday and is getting ready to be a big sister!  

She is very independent and likes to be tidy, for example the other day she was walking by a pair of Brad's shoes and accidentally knocked one of the the shoes over on its side, well Adelaide went back and put it upright they way it was, and was not even asked to do so, and she is the same way when it comes to pushing in chairs and closing doors.  Adelaide is also into earrings and rings, she always wants to put on anyones rings if she sees that they are wearing any, and she points at her ears then to mine (Kate) since I am wearing earrings.  So this past week we went and got her a few pairs of clip on earrings and she likes to wear them around (for a little bit) and pretend!  We just laugh and wonder where she gets this from?  We are enjoying watching her grow up, but it is going bye a little to fast for us.
